Discover the sport of competitive diving

Legends Dive Club is a youth diving club located at the University of California Berkeley Legends Aquatic Center. We offer lessons catering to beginner divers through elite diving training. Our team of experienced instructors is dedicated to providing a safe diving experience for all.

Our Story

Our program is designed for young athletes who have both the passion and potential to pursue the sport of Diving at the highest level. Our club is located in Berkeley, at Legends Aquatic Center. The facility has an olympic size pool with brand new diving stands, a full tower, bubble system, hot tubs, and dry land facility. We focus on technical excellence, mindset development, and year-round consistency. We offer a clear and intentional Olympic pathway for those ready to commit.

We keep our athlete roster limited, ensuring every diver receives individualized coaching and mentorship tailored to their goals. This is not a recreational program — it’s a high-performance environment built to develop strong fundamentals, disciplined habits, and lifelong love for the sport.

Meet the coaches

Meet our dedicated coaching team, featuring two accomplished coaches with successful diving careers and extensive coaching experience. They are committed to providing a safe and competitive environment for all divers.

Pei Lin

Head Diving Coach for the University of California Berkeley, Director of LDA

As a Chinese National Champion and a 3x NCAA runner up, Pei Lin brings over 15 years of elite diving experience. A Hall of Fame inductee and Athlete of the Year at Miami University,

Lin coached multiple Big Ten champions and developed 9+ NCAA Division I qualifiers, NCAA Champions, and Olympians. Her coaching centers on mindset, discipline, and building character—developing future elite athletes from the ground up. Pei Lin Graduated with the Master Degrees of Sports Coaching from The Ohio State University.

Lin competed collegiately at Miami University where she was a four-time MAC Diver of the Year. Seven MAC championships – four on the 3-meter springboard and three on the 1-meter board

Collin Pollard

Assistant Coach for the University of California Berkeley, Associate Head Coach of LDA

Collin Pollard is a 2x PAC-12 Champion and multiple time NCAA All-American Diver who is entering his second season as the UC Berkeley Assistant Diving Coach. Pollard has over a decade of coaching experience across the developmental, junior olympic, and collegiate levels. He has helped prepare athletes for international competitions and USA Diving Senior/Junior National Championships.

Collin Pollard attended UC Berkeley for his freshman season before transferring to the University of Southern California where he graduated in 2016. Pollard was a multiple Senior and Junior National Finalist, 2016 Olympic Trials Semi-Finalist, 2016 PAC-12 ‘Diver of the Meet’ award winner, 2x PAC-12 Champion, 4x NCAA All-American (First and Second Team), 3x ‘Most Valuable Diver’ award winner across two universities, and the 2016 ‘Most Inspirational Diver’ award winner at the University of Southern California.
